Kim Nielsen is a graduate from King’s College London with a Master of Arts in Conflict, Security and Development. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland. Kim is fluent in five languages and has travelled extensively across the world. Before joining KYP, she worked for two different divisions of the United Nations, a charity in Kerala, India, and a financial technology start-up. Kim is also an accomplished academic writer. Her research and publications have focused on sexual violence in armed conflict, weapons defense, and war in the 21st century. At KYP, she will focus on teaching our Global Thinking and Model United Nations courses. With such a depth of international knowledge, linguistic talent, and writing experience, she is a natural fit for developing our students’ global perspective and critical thinking skills.
