Intro Public Speaking — Ages 8-9
Thinking and speaking effectively are two of the most valuable skills in the modern world. Good speakers can persuade, argue, sell, and captivate. Our popular Public Speaking class prepares young students for the rigors of public speaking in the real world, while giving them the leadership skills they need to be confident scholars. In this class, students learn how to organize their ideas, craft a speech, and deliver their speech with conviction and poise.
Whether it’s a political speech or a marketing speech, students must construct and deliver their message with confidence, creativity, and style. Students will learn how to control the tone of their voice, tempo of their speech, posture, and eye contact. They will also learn how to craft dynamic introductions, exciting conclusions, and much more.
