PS is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University, where she matriculated in the Writing Seminars, a top-ranked creative writing program, and minored in Classics. Previous to joining KYP, she taught at a non-profit English immersion camp. A passionate and dedicated teacher, PS loves helping her students become better creative and critical writers!

Edward Sandilands graduated from the University of Kent with a degree in Economics. He has extensive debating experience, having debated competitively while in secondary school at King Edward VI School (UK). An avid reader and writer, he loves exposing his students to current events and global issues. While at the University of Kent, he led a team of students to design and execute a business plan to change the lives of people in Peru economically, socially and sustainably. At KYP, Edward teaches Critical Writing, Global Thinking, Debate, Creative Writing and Public Speaking.
Sarah Bergbauer is an experienced writing instructor and has taught in the United States, Hong Kong, and Vietnam. She is a graduate of Susquehanna University in the United States, where she tripled majored in Anthropology, International Studies, and Spanish. While at university, she was a research assistant for a professor, assisting with anthropological research. Sarah is skilled at writing and editing analytical essays as well as teaching students how to do research and incorporate research into their writing. A kind, patient and methodical teacher, Sarah loves working with kids and inspiring them to be more creative and imaginative. At KYP, Sarah teaches Creative Writing, Critical Writing, Global Thinking, and Early Readers classes.
